Este artigo pretende associar o conceito de imaginação em Bachelard às
reflexões historiográficas recentes, que relacionam as práticas de escrita da história à
dimensão imaginativa do trabalho do historiador. Para realizar este intento, torna-
se relevante, inicialmente, sistematizar três aspectos de seu pensamento – suas
influências, suas críticas e seus novos elementos.

Resumo Inglês:

This article intends to associate Bachelard’s concept of imagination to the
recent historiographical reflections that make connections among the practices of
writing history and the imaginative dimension of the historian´s work. To carry
out this intention, it is relevant, initially, to systematize three aspects of his thought
– his influences, his criticism and his new elements.
