Este estudo tem o objetivo de refletir sobre a abrangência da historiografia recente sobre a emigração alemã para o Brasil e seus efeitos sobre as relações bilaterais entre Alemanha e Brasil e, na atualidade, sobre as populações de origem imigrante, - que constituem no sul do Brasil nichos sociais e culturais singulares.
Resumo Inglês:
This study aims to reflect over the range of the recent historiography about the German emigration to Brazil and its effects on the bilateral relationships between Germany and Brazil, on the present time, and on the immigrant origin population that constitute singular and social niches in the South of Brazil.
