O presente trabalho nasceu da necessidade de auxiliar o professor egresso do curso de Arte a compreender os principais documentos que norteiam o ensino de arte no Brasil no que se refere à Arte Educação. Para isso, percorremos primeiramente a Constituição Federal de 1988, explicitando as principais contribuições desse documento que garante o direito de educação a todos os cidadãos brasileiros; em seguida abordaremos a questão da Arte na Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional 9394/96 e no Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente, que enfatiza e explicita a importância da educação para a formação artístico-cultural do aluno da Educação Básica de nosso país. Para enriquecer a discussão, apresentaremos como se constitui o ensino de Arte nos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais e na Proposta Curricular do Estado de São Paulo. Diante dessa necessidade, realizaremos um estudo bibliográfico do ensino de Arte Educação, com o objetivo de auxiliar os professores de Arte de todo o país e fazendo-os perceber, através das legislações, o quanto essa área é de suma importância para a formação artístico-cultural dos alunos ao longo da Educação Básica.

The present work was born from the need to help the teacher who graduated from the course
of Art to understand the main documents that guide the teaching of art in Brazil
with regard to Art Education. For this, we first go through the Constitution
Federal Constitution of 1988, explaining the main contributions of this document that guarantees the
right to education for all Brazilian citizens; then we will address the issue
of Art in the Law of Directives and Bases of National Education 9394/96 and in the Statute of
Children and Adolescents, which emphasizes and explains the importance of education for
artistic-cultural formation of the Basic Education student in our country. to enrich the
discussion, we will present how the teaching of Art is constituted in the Curriculum Parameters
National and in the Curriculum Proposal of the State of São Paulo. Faced with this need,
we will carry out a bibliographic study of the teaching of Art Education, with the objective of helping
art teachers from all over the country and making them realize, through legislation, the

de Arte para comprender los principales documentos que orientan la enseñanza del arte en Brasil

per quanto riguarda l'Educazione Artistica. Per questo, esaminiamo prima la Costituzione
