Este artigo aborda a relação entre a disciplina de Educação Moral e Cívica e a formação de cidadãos durante a Ditadura Militar. Presente nos currículos escolares desde o final do século XIX, a educação moral e cívica teve diferentes tratamentos. Entre 1969 e 1993 foi instaurada corno disciplina obrigatória e prática educativa tendo a formação de cidadãos com uma de suas finalidades.

This paper approach the relationship between the Moral and Civic Education subject and the making-up of citizens during the Military Dictaroship period. Present in the school curriculum sínce the 19th century's end, the moral and civic education has different treatments. From 1969 to 1993 it was established as obligatory school subject and educative practice and one of its finalities was the making-up of the citizens.
