Fenomenologia e gestaltismo no projeto filosófico inicial de Merleau-Ponty

Trata-se de esclarecer a especificidade da reflexão merleau-pontyana, por contraste com a fenomenologia de Husserl, a partir do estatuto filosófico que a noção de forma perceptiva (Gestalt) acaba por adquirir no contexto Fenomenologia da percepção (1996). Para isso, procuramos mostrar de que modo, para Merleau-Ponty, a inadequação da distinção husserliana entre fato e essência torna-se patente quando a reflexão fenomenológica procura descrever fielmente o modo de existência das gestalten percebidas, inviabilizando, assim, a ruptura fenomenológica, tão pretendida por Husserl, em relação à atitude natural.

The objective of this article is to clarify the specificity of Merleau-Ponty´s reflection, by contrast with Husserl´s phenomenology, starting from the philosophical status that the notion of perceptive form (Gestalt) ends up acquiring in the context of Phenomenology of Perception. To this, we try to show how, to Merleau-Ponty, the inadequacy of the husserlian distinction between “fact” and “essence” becomes manifest when the phenomenological reflection turns to the faithfull description of the mode of existence of the perceptive gestalten, thus making impossible the so searched husserlian´s phenomenological rupture with the natural attitude.
