A presença da femme fatale na cultural ocidental é uma trama complexa de imagens que ganha força
no século XIX e que atravessa com intensidade o cinema chegando aos dias atuais em sua sobrevida
na televisão. Este artigo procura analisar algumas dessas aparições e suas implicações culturais em
diversos media, onde horror, sedução, dor e prazer se convergem.

The presence of the femme fatale in western culture is a complex plot of images that gain force in
the nineteenth century, and travels with the film arriving in force nowadays in the television survival.
This article analyzes some of these appearances and their implications in various cultural media,
where horror, seduction, pain and pleasure converge.
