Com a implantação do Programa de Integração à Educação Básica na Modalidade Educação de Jovens e Adultos
(PROEJA) na rede federal de Educação Profissional e Tecnológica, viu-se a necessidade de investigar as
possibilidades da construção de um material didático para ensino de Matemática para um curso de Agente
Comunitário de Saúde, a fim de proporcionar ao estudante o desenvolvimento dos conhecimentos matemáticos
de forma interdisciplinar, permitindo, assim, uma formação integral do cidadão. Este artigo relata as percepções
dos profissionais da área de saúde sobre o ensino e importância da Matemática para o referido curso, bem como
as possibilidades de construção do conhecimento matemático a partir do currículo integrado e da interação com
as outras áreas

With the implementation of the Integration Program Mode to Basic Education in Youth and Adults (PROEJA) in
the federal system of Vocational and Technological Education, saw the need to investigate the possibilities of
building an educational material for teaching mathematics to a Travel Agent Community Health, to provide the
student with the development of mathematical knowledge in an interdisciplinary manner, thus allowing a
complete formation of the citizen. This article reports the perceptions of health professionals about the
importance of mathematics education and for that course as well as the possibilities of construction of
mathematical knowledge from the integrated curriculum and interaction with other areas.
