Esse ensaio analisa alguns aspectos da construção da obra A Hora da Estrela, de Clarice Lispector, como elementos de cultura, marcas de leitura, oralidade e cultura de massa na obra. Assim também, analisa a escritura da obra através do olhar do narrador Rodrigo S. M. A representação da personagem feminina Macabéa se dá pela busca da escritura lapidar e racional no romance, como uma tentativa de construir uma escritura apropriada para a configuração dessa figura feminina apagada, opaca, cujo sofrimento instaura um espaço silente de dor. Além disso, serão analisadas referências intertextuais na obra.

This essay analyzes some aspects of the construction of the novel A Hora da Estrela (The Hour of the Star), by Clarice Lispector, such as elements of culture, marks of reading, speaking, and mass culture in the work. Also, it analyzes the writing of the novel through the point of view of the narrator Rodrigo S. M. The representation of the female character Macabea is done by searching for the lapidary and rational writing, as an attempt to build up the appropriate writing for the configuration of such effaced, obfuscated, female figure, whose suffering establishes a silent space of pain. Besides that, it will be analyzed some intertextual references in the work.
