A ESCOLA NA VISÃO DE TODOS: UMA AÇÃO AUTOAVALIATIVA NA INSTITUIÇÃO

O propósito deste artigo é apresentar a realidade de funcionamento da Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Bom Pastor, localizada na cidade de Nova Petrópolis, no RS, através da visão de todas as partes envolvidas no contexto escolar, no sentido pedagógico e administrativo. A partir de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, baseada principalmente nas obras de Both (2012) e Gadotti (2000), e de uma análise do resultado de uma avaliação institucional, pretende-se descobrir qual o real cenário da escola e como ela é percebida por seus membros. A Escola Bom Pastor já é centenária e milhares de alunos por ela passaram. Nesses mais de cem anos de existência, houve muitas alterações, porém todas dentro do que a lei determina. Esta escola honra com o compromisso junto ao ser humano, ofertando-lhe um processo de ensino e aprendizagem com qualidade. Nesse contexto, é relevante ter uma avaliação consciente e atualizada que leve, tanto o professor, quanto a todos os envolvidos, a obterem uma visão ampla nos campos da cultura, cidadania e da vida em sociedade.

This article’s proposal is to present the reality at Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Bom Pastor, located in Nova Petrópolis, Rio Grande do Sul, through the eyes of all parts involved in the school context, on pedagogical and management sense. Through bibliographic research, based specially on the works of Both (2012) and Gadotti (2000), and analysis of the results from the institutional survey, the intention is to discover the real school environment and how it is seen by its members. Escola Bom Pastor is already centenary and thousands of students have passed by it. In these more than a hundred years of existence, there had been many changes; however, all of them were in legal determinations. This school honors the commitment with the human being, giving it a quality process of education and learning. In this context, it is relevant to have a consciousand up to date survey that brings not only the teachers, but also all the ones involved, to acquire a broad vision of culture, citizenship and life in society.
