Neste artigo, apresentamos uma leitura estrutural do conto O quati, de Fidêncio Bogo,explorando os elementos estruturais que o compõe. Apoiados em Massaud Moisés, pudemosconstatar nas análises realizadas que o autor mostra quadros de um Tocantins que se constróia partir do passado e do presente, focando aspectos diversos ligados à nova realidade que seinstaura no Estado e abrindo espaço para as discussões ambientais a partir do episódiorelatado no conto.
In this article, we present a structural reading of the story THE COATI, by Fidêncio Bogo, exploring the structural elements that compose it. Leaning in Massaud Moisés, we could verify ,in the analyses, that the author shows pictures of a Tocantins built from the past to the present, focusing on several aspects linked to the new reality that is established in the State and opening space for the environmental discussions starting from the episode told in the story.
