O presente artigo tem por objetivo apresentar um estudo sobre as estratégias e táticas revolucionárias adotadas pelo PCB. Analisaremos a linha polÃtica do Partido e, particularmente, a Declaração de Março de 1958, ressaltando os fundamentos teóricos que informavam suas interpretações sobre a realidade brasileira e que, consequentemente, orientavam as ações dos seus militantes. Trata-se de uma leitura crÃtica destas matrizes teóricas, buscando suas raÃzes nas teses elaboradas pela Internacional Comunista e revelando seus equÃvocos com a deflagração do golpe de Estado de 1964.

This article aims to present a study of revolutionary strategy and tactics adopted by the PCB. We will review the Party's political line, and particularly the Declaration of March 1958, highlighting the theoretical foundations that informed their interpretations of Brazilian reality and that, therefore, guided the actions of their militants. This is a critical reading of these theoretical frameworks, seeking their roots in the theories developed by the Communist International and revealing their mistakes with the outbreak of the coup of 1964.
