O presente estudo aborda a percepção ambiental de crianças da Educação Infantil com idades entre quatro e cinco anos. Para a pesquisa apresentada ocorreu a participação da professora da turma juntamente com as crianças. Com a professora foi feito a entrevista semiestruturada e com as crianças mapas mentais. Por meio dos mapas mentais percebeu-se que as crianças têm um conhecimento referente ao assunto da Educação Ambiental, por meio do que observam em seu contexto e suas vivencias familiares. Segundo análise verificou-se também que a Educação Ambiental está inserida no currículo escolar, porém é trabalhada de maneira isolada.

The present study approaches the children's of the Infantile Education environmental perception with ages among four five years. For the presented research it happened the teacher's of the group participation together with the children. With the teacher it was made the interview semistructured and with the children mental maps. Through the mental maps it was noticed that the children have a knowledge regarding the subject of the Environmental Education, through what they observe in your context and yours live family. As analysis, was also verified that the Enviroenmental Education is inserted in the school curriculum, however it is worked in an isolated way.
