Resumos Cadastrados

This article investigates different historical pathways taken by Jesuits and Benedictines on the discussion about magnitude of grace and freewill in salvation and the implications of these positions in the building of a sacramental practice for their slaves. Based on documents available for both orders, we sought to investigate the more pragmatic aspects of this sacramental practice, mainly matrimony and baptism.
