O presente artigo objetiva analisar, criticamente, como surgiram os discursos masculinistas na internet e porque são atrativos para os jovens, contrastando o conteúdo veiculado com o princípio da proteção integral de crianças e adolescentes. Nesse sentido, a compressão do referido princípio é apresentada em um primeiro tópico, seguido da origem dos discursos masculinistas e sua ascensão e engajamento na internet, especialmente por parte dos jovens. Por fim, são apresentados os desafios da garantia da proteção integral em ambientes virtuais que disseminam esses discursos. Em relação às referências, utilizou-se leis referentes aos direitos de vulneráveis (como o Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente) e atinentes à questões digitais, além de pesquisas qualitativas e quantitativas, feitas por outros pesquisadores. Para que o objetivo fosse alcançado, foi utilizada a vertente metodológica jurídico-social, do tipo jurídico-compreensiva. O resultado dessa investigação demonstrou que discursos masculinistas estão em desacordo com o princípio da proteção integral porque expõe jovens a conteúdos violentos, mentirosos e desrespeitosos, afetando a percepção de mundo desses seres em formação. Apontou ainda, para a necessidade de mudanças conjuntas para que esse tipo de desinformação não se espalhe.
This article aims to critically analyze how masculinist discourses emerged on the internet and why they are attractive to young people, contrasting the content conveyed with the principle of comprehensive protection of children and adolescents. In this sense, the understanding of this principle is presented in the first topic, followed by the origin of masculinist discourses and their rise and engage-ment on the internet, especially by young people. Finally, it presents the challenges of ensuring compre-hensive protection in virtual environments that disseminate these discourses. Regarding the references, laws related to the rights of vulnerable people were used, such as the Statute of Children and Adolescents and those related to digital issues were brought, in addition to qualitative and quantitative research, car-ried out by other researchers. In order to achieve the objective, was used the legal-social methodological approach, of the legal-comprehensive type. The results of this investigation demonstrated that mascu-linist discourses are at odds with the principle of comprehensive protection because they expose young people to violent, misleading, and disrespectful content, affecting the worldview of these developing beings. It also highlighted the need for joint changes so that this type of misinformation does not spread.
