Resumo
Este artigo objetiva analisar os pressupostos teórico-metodológicos que norteiam o ensinoaprendizagem
de Língua Portuguesa nas séries do Ensino Fundamental de três redes
municipais do estado de Santa Catarina. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida a partir da análise das
propostas curriculares de tais redes municipais de ensino, tendo como base os referenciais
educacionais que norteiam atualmente a disciplina, os referenciais teóricos do campo da
Linguística Aplicada e os estudos do Círculo de Bakhtin. Em todas as propostas, observa-se
a preocupação em apontar o trabalho com o texto e com os gêneros do discurso no âmbito
das atividades de leitura/escuta, produção textual e análise linguística como de central
importância para que a disciplina cumpra suas finalidades e vá ao encontro das
necessidades dos sujeitos que se constituem alunos do ensino fundamental das redes de
ensino mencionadas. Todavia, todas as propostas apresentam lacunas e imprecisões
relativas à ancoragem teórico-metodológica desse trabalho, o que pode comprometer a
maneira como o professor realiza a elaboração didática dos conteúdos de ensino na sala de
aula.

The present article aims at analyzing the theoretical-methodological framework that guides
the teaching practice and learning of Portuguese Language in the classes of elementary
schools of three municipal educational nets in the state of Santa Catarina. The research was
developed based on the analysis of the curricular proposals of the mentioned municipal
school nets, and it was supported by the studies concerning the educational references that
guide the school subject, theoretical references in the area of Applied Linguistics and the
studies of Bakhtin`s Circle. In all of the proposals it is possible to observe a preoccupation
towards mentioning the work developed with the text and with the speech genres in the
context of activities regarding reading/listening, textual production and linguistic analysis
as of central importance, so that the Portuguese Language subject could attain its goals and the needs of individuals who attend it. However, all the documents present blank spaces
and imprecise information concerning the theoretical-methodological basis of the work to
be performed, which may affect the way teachers develop it in the classroom.
