O presente artigo situa-se entre as discussões sobre o acesso à justiça e o papel dos tribunais de justiça na efetivação dos direitos humanos e pretende apresentar alguns dos debates e estudos recentes sobre necessidade de se adotar o princípio da transversalidade de gênero no sistema de justiça.

The present article lies between the discussions regarding access to justice and the role of the courts of justice in the enforcement of human rights and intends to present some of the debates and recent studies about the need to adopt the principle of gender mainstreaming in the justice system.
