Da Revolução, a Modernidade e o Progresso: a emergência da filosofia da história em Kant, Hegel e Marx

Este artigo procura analisar, através do desenvolvimento dos conceitos de revolução,
modernidade e progresso, a emergência da filosofia da História em Kant e Hegel, fazendo,
por último, um contraponto da mesma com o materialismo histórico de Karl Marx. Com
a leitura dos crÃticos da modernização do final do século XVIII e inÃcio do XIX (Goethe e
Baudelaire), adentramos ainda a construção do moderno conceito de História,
observando a associação deste com a novidade e o aperfeiçoamento advindo do
movimento revolucionário francês de 1789.

This article intend to analyze, through of the development of the concepts of revolution,
modernity and progress, the growth of the philosophy of History in Kant and Hegel,
doing, last, a contrast of this with the Karl Marx’s historic materialism. In the reading of
the critics of the modernization in the finishing of the century XVIII and beginning of the
XIX (Goethe and Baudelaire), we still study the construction of the History modern
concept, observing how it is associated with the innovation and improvement that has
occurred of the French revolutionary movement of 1789.
