Understanding that the major milestone for regional infrastructure integration in South America came from the beginning of the 21st century, with the advent of the Initiative for the Integration of South American Regional Infrastructure (IIRSA), the present study seeks to contribute to a new approach to research relating Regional Integration and Geopolitics in the Brazil-Peru relationship. Thus, unlike what is traditionally produced, this article will address the desire for physical integration by transport through the Peruvian perspective, using concepts of its spatial projection and the construction of bilateral relationship with Brazil, therefore, besides a new perspective, it also has a distinct time frame. Given the deficit of national academic production in this aspect, the Peruvian literature on the subject will be used mainly. Therefore, it is characterized as an instrumental case study, using the premise of the bioceanic corridors as a starting point to question their participation in Peru's international projection.
