Na atualidade é grande a preocupação de algumas pessoas com a sociedade, e se algumas ações ou negócios podem auxiliar na melhoria da condição de vida dos demais. Assim surge uma novidade: Os chamados negócios sociais. Desta forma o artigo apresentou os conceitos de negócio social, e que a gestão contábil, a utilização das ferramentas contábeis pode auxiliar para o sucesso destes empreendimentos. Os negócios sociais buscam causar impacto social identificando problema e criando soluções, seja ela social econômica ou ambiental. Para obter êxito são varias análises a serem efetuadas, no qual a contabilidade pode contribuir, verificando o modelo negócio, utilizando de ferramentas de controle como o fluxo de caixa. Verificou-se a amplitude da contabilidade neste novo negócio, pois a este precisa se manter no mercado, que a empresa seja autossustentável, mas que  auxilie  o bem social.

At present there is a great concern of some people in society, and some actions or business can help to improve the living conditions of others. Thus arises a novelty: The so-called social business. Thus, the article introduced the concepts of social business, and accounting management, the use of financial tools can help in the success of these ventures. Social businesses seeking to cause social impact by identifying problems and creating solutions, be it economic or social environment. To succeed are several analyzes to be performed, in which accounting can contribute by checking the model business, using control tools such as cash flow. There was a range of accounting in the new business, because it needs to stay on the market, the company is self-sustaining, but that helps the social good.
