Este artigo é uma síntese de dissertação de mestrado de título homônimo, cujo
objetivo foi observar a constituição da subjetividade em raps do CD duplo Nada como um dia
após o outro dia, de 2002, do grupo Racionais MC‟s, um dos grupos de maior
representatividade do movimento Hip Hop no cenário brasileiro, tendo como enfoque a forma
como os locutores (rappers) colocam-se como sujeitos do discurso em seus raps e o
posicionamento responsivo dialógico desses locutores para com seus interlocutores,
especialmente o “mano/truta” e o “senhor de engenho”. Os postulados teóricos metodológicos
adotados foram os propostos por Bakhtin (1976[1926], 1995[1929], 2003 [1979]) sobre
dialogismo, atitude responsivo-ativa, gênero discursivo, entoação (tom) e estilo. Além desses
postulados bakhtinianos, que representaram a base dos pressupostos teóricos, outras
concepções também foram usadas, como as noções de ethos discursivo e de cena enunciativa
propostas por Maingueneau (2004[1998], 2005, 2008). Outros estudiosos e suas contribuições
também foram utilizados na dissertação de mestrado, porém, não terão seus estudos
apresentados e comentados, tendo em vista que este artigo tem o objetivo de mostrar um
resumo da pesquisa defendida.

This paper is a summary of the homonimous dissertation which had as its
objectives to observe the formation of subjectivity in “Nothing like a day after another”
(“Nada como um dia após o outro dia”), the 2002 Rational Mc‟s group double-CD. This is the
one of the most representative groups of the Brazilian Hip Hop movement. They focus the
way the speakers (rappers) situate themselves as subjects of discourse and also the way they
answer concerning the dialogic responsive position of the speakers in relation to themselves
and to their interlocutors, specially the “trout” (o “truta”) and the “lands” (“senhor de
engenho”). Some concepts proposed by Bakhtin (1976[1926], 1995[1929], 2003[1979]) are
methodologically used: dialogism, active responsive attitude, discursive gender, intonation
(tune) and style. Besides these bakhtinian conceptions, which represent the theoretical basis
for this research, other notions are also evoked as Maingueneau‟s (2004[1998], 2005, 2008)
proposal of discursive ethos, together with the notion of the enunciative scene. Besides, some
other theoretical authors contributed on the writing of the dissertation, but they are not present
in this paper because the purpose of this work is to show a brief summary of the research.
