O presente trabalho objetiva estabelecer um percurso historiográfico e discursivo sobre a concepção de língua em livros didáticos de português (LDP). O estudo baseia-se, teórica e metodologicamente, nas contribuições da Historiografia Linguística e dos Estudos do Discurso. Como fontes para a investigação da historiografia do LDP, a pesquisa investiga nove obras didáticas publicadas entre os anos 1984 e 2018. As conclusões reiteram a importância dos Estudos Linguísticos para a compreensão de fenômenos socioculturais, como é a publicação de um LDP e sua utilização como suporte para os eventos de sala de aula.
This text aims at stablishing a historiographical and discursive path over the language conception in Portuguese textbooks (LDP). It is theoretically and methodologically founded under the contribution of Linguistic Historiography and Studies of Discourse. This research explores nine textbooks published between 1984 and 2018 as sources for investigating the historiography of Portuguese textbooks (LDP). The conclusions reiterate the importance of Linguistic Studies for understanding the sociocultural phenomena, that is, the publishing of a textbook and its use as a support for the events occurred in the classroom.
