The anatomy of the leaf was evaluated on 2 temporary lines of lentils ( Lene culinaria Medic.) On temporary and permanent slides . It was concluded that: 1. DF6 and DF7 lines present limbus, petiole and main vein with similar anatomical characteristics ; 2. The epidermis, in the observed lines, presents significant differences in relation to the number of epidermal cells, number and size of the stomata and stomatal index.
