Este artigo é resultado do trabalho desenvolvido no âmbito do estágio docência de uma das autoras em uma disciplina optativa da graduação do Curso de Letras Alemão da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina em cujo currículo é dado enfoque significativo para a área de tradução. Durante a disciplina, ministrada no segundo semestre de 2012, foi discutido um projeto de tradução de um dicionário semibilíngue e, consequentemente, as peculiaridades de tal tarefa e os percalços dos profissionais da área. Os alunos também foram introduzidos, ao campo da Lexicografia e Metalexicografia. O objetivo de relatar as atividades desenvolvidas é voltar a discutir a importância de disciplinas de Lexicografia na graduação e mostrar que isso é possível.
This paper is the result of the work carried out under one of the authors’ teaching internship, in an optative course with the students of the German Language and Literature Program at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in which curriculum the area of translation receives significant attention. During the course, taught during the second semester of 2012, the translation of a semi - bilingual dictionary was discussed, therefore the peculiarities of this task and the difficulties of the professionals from this area. Students were also introduced to the field of L exicography and Metalexicography. The goal of reporting the activities applied is to go back to the discussion of the importance of Lexicography courses in the undergraduate programs and show that it is possible.
