O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar uma leitura da obra Ciranda de
Pedra, de Lygia Fagundes Telles, sob a influência das teorias de Arthur Schopenhauer,
em que a Vontade atua como elemento delimitador e modelador do comportamento dos
personagens.

The aim of this paper is to present a reading of the work Ciranda de
Pedra, Lygia Fagundes Telles, under the influence of the theories of Arthur
Schopenhauer, in which the Will acts as a delimiter and shaper of the behavior of the
characters.
