O trabalho argumenta sobre a importância estratégica da produção de pensamento crítico na atual fase históri-ca latino-americana. Explicita a potência epistemológica da perspectiva transme-todológica para confrontar os obstáculos que as políticas autoritárias desenham à produção de conhecimento, ao tentar desestruturar as comunidades em ciên-cias da comunicação em Nossa América. O referencial teórico-metodológico traba-lha os conhecimentos e as experiências de investigação crítica em comunieducaçãoproduzidos no contexto da Rede Amlat na perspectiva de vigorizar o campo na região. Desse modo, dá continuidade às propostas de fortalecimento de uma ver-tente transmetodológica que contribua à desarticulação do paradigma positivista na área de conhecimento e fortaleça a cida-dania comunieducativa na América Latina.
The work argues on the strategic importance of the production of critical thinking in the current Latin American historical phase. It explains the epistemological power of the transmethodological perspective to face the obstacles that authoritarian policies design to the production of knowledge, trying to disrupt scientific communities in communication sciences in Our America. The theoretical-methodological reference works with knowledge and experiences of critical research in communication-education produced in the context of the AMLAT Network, with a view to strengthening the scientific communities of the region. In this way, it gives continuity to the proposals for strengthening a transmethodological strand that contributes to the de-structuring of the positivist paradigm in the area and strengthens the communicational-educational citizenship in Latin America.
