CARREGANDO ÁGUA NA PENEIRA: UMA ANÁLISE DO POEMA DE MANOEL DE BARROS

O presente trabalho tem por intuito analisar o poema de Manoel de Barros, intitulado “O menino que carregava água na peneira”, de acordo com a Semântica do Acontecimento. Para isso, percorremos um arcabouço teórico fundamentado, principalmente, no autor Eduardo Guimarães, do qual utilizamos o conceito de Domínio Semântico de Determinação – DSD, de modo a representar a constituição dos sentidos que possam ser dados à expressão “carregar água na peneira” subjetivamente e semanticamente. Em outras palavras, pode-se entender que os sentidos das expressões não são referenciais, ou seja, não podem ser tomadas como verdades absolutas. Outros estudiosos, como, por exemplo, M. Bakhtin, C. Freitas, Ana C. Nascimentos, entre outros, foram, de acordo com a necessidade, utilizados. No decorrer do trabalho buscou-se a possibilidade de apresentar conceitos básicos da Semântica do Acontecimento, levando em consideração que o sentido é produzido pelo acontecimento da linguagem e pelo funcionamento da língua nos espaços de enunciação.

The present article aims to analyze the Manoel de Barros' poem entitled: "The boy who carried water in the sieve" according to Event semantics. For this, we go through a theoretical framework based, mainly, according to the author; Eduardo Guimarães, from which we use the concept of Semantic Domain of Determination - DSD, to represent the constitution of the senses that can be given to the expression "load water in the sieve" subjectively and semantically. In other words, one can understand that the meanings of expressions are not referential, that is, they can not be taken as absolute truths. Other scholars, such as, for example, M. Bakhtin, C. Freitas, Ana C. Nascimento among others were, according to necessity, used. In the course of the work we sought the possibility of presenting basic concepts of Semantics of the Event, taking into account that the meaning is produced by the occurrence of language and the functioning of language in the spaces of enunciation.
