Este artigo pretende sintetizar o processo de pesquisa, inventariação e registro do bem cultural Sociedade Musical e Recreativa Lapa a patrimônio cultural imaterial do município de Florianópolis, com o recebimento do título “Bandas Centenárias”. Descrever o processo é uma forma de salvaguardar o bem. Neste sentido, o texto aqui contém partes que integraram o dossiê e minha pesquisa de trabalho de conclusão de curso em Arquitetura e Urbanismo na Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. Os objetivos são democratizar, dar maior acesso ao conhecimento acerca deste bem cultural e servir de incentivo às comunidades participarem dos processos de patrimonialização de seus bens.

This article intends to synthesize the process of research, inventory and registration of the cultural asset Sociedade Musical e Recreativa Lapa to intangible cultural heritage of the city of Florianópolis, with the receipt of the title "Centennial Bands". Describing the process is a way of safeguarding the cultural asset. In this sense, the text here contains excerpts that were part of the dossier and my research for graduation completion in Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. The objective is to democratize and give greater access to knowledge about this cultural asset and that can serve as an incentive for communities to participate in the processes of patrimonialization of their assets
