Arte e educação. A mística de Fayga Ostrower E Joseph Beuys

Partindo do pressuposto de que somos uma sociedade de cultura mística este artigo procura analisar de que maneira esta mística se faz presente na arte e na educação, traçando um paralelo com os mitos e rituais das sociedades primitivas até chegar ao romantismo, que, todavia, imprime grande influência sobre a produção cultural atual. É atráves de dois artistas e educadores contemporâneos, Fayga Ostrower e Joseph Beuys, que buscamos compreender como atuam os mitos, tanto na obra e vida destes artistas, quanto em sua ação como educadores. Em ambas as trajetórias, foi possível observar, apesar de terem vivido e atuado em contextos sociais distintos, muitas semelhanças no trabalho artístico e educativo, onde a presença mística envolve o processo.

Under the assumption that we are a society of mystical culture this article seeks to analyze how this mysticism is present in art and education, drawing a parallel with the myths and rituals of primitive societies to get to romanticism, which, however prints great influence on the cultural production today. Through the work of two contemporary artists and educators, Joseph Beuys Fayga Ostrower, we seek to understand how myths operate in both work and life of these artists, and in their activity as educators. In both paths, it was observed, despite having lived and worked in different social contexts, many similarities in the artistic and educational work, which the mystical presence involves the process.
