ARIADNE E O INSÓLITO LABIRINTO DA CIDADE FICTIVA

Um dos paradigmas da Cidade Fictiva – entendida como a cidade que nasce da criação literária – é Cnossos com seu labirinto, que transpõe o limite entre o ficcional e o real ao sair dos relatos épicos de Homero para ser redescoberta pela História no final do século XIX, quando o mito adquire uma dimensão histórica e a História, por sua vez, ganha uma dimensão poética. Juntamente com o labirinto, vemos surgir Ariadne como manifestação de Asynithisto, a “nobreza incomum” aristotélica que busca a salvação dos homens, para, finalmente, analisarmos o aspecto insólito do labirinto na novela La Ciudad Está Triste, escrita pelo chileno Ramón Díaz Eterovic nos últimos anos da ditadura de Pinochet.

One of the paradigms of the Fictive City – understood as the city born from a literary creation – is Cnossos with its labyrinth, which crosses the boundary between the fictional and the real when it comes out of the epic narratives of Homer to be rediscovered by the History in the end of the 20th century, when the myth acquires a historical dimension and the History, in turn, gains a poetical dimension. Along with the labyrinth, we see Ariadne arising as a manifestation of Asynithisto, the aristotelian “unusual nobility” that seeks the human salvation, to finally analyze the uncommon aspect of the labyrinth in the novel La Ciudad Está Triste, wrote by the Chilean Ramón Díaz Eterovic in the last years of the Pinochet dictatorship.
