Aproximación geopolítica a la violencia feminicida sobre venezolanas dentro y fuera de Venezuela

La investigación pretende vincular la geopolítica mundial, específicamente la estrategia de EE.UU., hacia los países de América Latina con énfasis en Venezuela, demostrando cómo la violencia estructural del sistema internacional e interamericano ha generado situaciones de violencia femicida sobre el cuerpo de las mujeres de nacionalidad venezolana, tanto dentro como fuera de Venezuela. Explicando el contexto de crisis generalizada que se vive en el país como expresión de la pugna por el poder, no solo de actores nacionales sino también internacionales, y finalmente, analizar las implicaciones que esto ha generado sobre las mujeres venezolanas, tanto de las que migran como de las que se quedan en el país. Partimos de la pregunta ¿cómo explicar, desde una mirada geopolítica y feminista, la violencia feminicida que ha recaído, durante los últimos años, sobre las mujeres venezolanas, dentro y fuera de Venezuela? Se utiliza la metodología cualitativa, el análisis interseccional y multinivel por la utilidad teórica y práctica que aporta al caso, así como la revisión documental. Desde el punto de vista teórico se parte de la perspectiva feminista de las Relaciones Internacionales.

The research aims to link global geopolitics, specifically the US strategy towards Latin American countries with emphasis on Venezuela, demonstrating how the structural violence of the international and inter-American system has generated situations of femicidal violence on the body of women of Venezuelan nationality, both inside and outside Venezuela. Explaining the context of generalized crisis that is experienced in the country as an expression of the struggle for power, not only of national but also international actors, and finally, analyzing the implications that this has generated on Venezuelan women, both of those who migrate as of those that remain in the country. We start from the question, how to explain, from a geopolitical and feminist perspective, the feminicidal violence that has fallen, in recent years, on Venezuelan women, inside and outside Venezuela? The qualitative methodology, intersectional and multilevel analysis is used for the theoretical and practical usefulness it brings to the case, as well as the documentary review. From the theoretical point of view, we start from the feminist perspective of International Relations.
