This paper presents the Statistical Quality Control of the production line of three machines from the MAXION tractor unit, Canoas unit, RS, by the Shewhart Classic Procedure, as well as by the alternative techniques: Cumulative Sum (CUSUM) and Exponential Smoothing Model . It is observed that the Shewhart procedure can be used to detect large changes in the process average and the Cumulative Sum Method is more efficient in detecting small changes in the process average
