Angústia e Narrativa em A Mosca de Katherine Mansfield

Este artigo analisa o conto A Mosca de Katherine Mansfield de acordo com os conceitos de
angústia e narrativa, definidos dentro de uma matriz lacaniana. A angústia é definida como a falta da falta
e a narrativa como uma predicação simbólica do Real. Analisando o conto a partir dessas duas variáveis,
descobrimos que a angústia é uma das origens da narrativa e que toda narrativa contém uma alegoria.
Apresentamos os conceitos de origem e alegoria em nossa discussão para defender nossa tese.

This article analyzes the short story The Fly by Katherine Mansfield according to the
concepts of anxiety and narrative as defined in a Lacanian matrix. Anxiety is defined as the lack of the
lack and narrative is defined as a symbolic predication of the Real. Analyzing our short story from the
point of view of these two variables, we discover that anxiety is one of the origins of narrative and that
every narrative contains an allegory. We present the concepts of origin and allegory in our discussion to
defend our thesis.
