ANÁLISE DO USO E OCUPAÇÃO DAS TERRAS DA BACIA HIDROGRÁFICA DO RIBEIRÃO BORÁ (MG)

O objetivo do artigo é analisar o uso e ocupação das terras da BHRB, a partir de sua dinâmica hidrológica, e cruzamento das informações sobre uso da terra e cobertura vegetal, com a declividade. A BHRB localiza-se em Minas Gerais, na mesorregião do Triângulo Mineiro e Alto Paranaíba, zona UTM 23, Meridiano Central 45º Oeste de Greenwich, entre as coordenadas 228000 - 264000mE e 7816000 - 7788000mN. Foram utilizados imagem do satélite ETM+/Landsat 5, (agosto de 2009), bandas 3G 4R 7B; base cartográfica digitalizada a partir das cartas topográficas de Sacramento e Uberaba (1:100.000); dados MDE/SRTM; cálculos morfométricos; e dados de vazão obtidos pela estação fluviométrica da ANA (1996-2006). Os índices morfométricos de sinuosidade (1,86) e declividade média (10,86%) revelam que a bacia não apresenta tendências para ocorrência de enchentes. O cálculo de vazão específica média confirma que existe em média um volume de água na ordem de 32.187,62 m³/h; valor suficiente para suprir ao longo do ano, as atividades econômicas e necessidades humanas na bacia. Em relação à declividade e uso da terra, verificou-se que a maior parte da bacia possui declives entre 3 e 8% (58%), significando que a área possui inclinações favoráveis às práticas agropastoris.

The aim of this paper is to analyze the use and occupation of lands in the watershed of Ribeirão Borá, from the hydrological dynamics, and the information about the land use and the vegetal cover, with the slope. This watershed is located in Minas Gerais, in the region of Triângulo Mineiro and Alto Paraíba, UTM Zone 23, Central Meridian 45° West, between the coordinates 228000 - 264000mE and 7816000 - 7788000mN. We used the image of the satellite ETM+ /Landsat 5, (August 2009), bands 3G 4R 7B; basemap scanned from topographic maps of Sacramento and Uberaba (1:100,000); data MDE / SRTM; morphometric calculations; and flow data obtained by the fluviometric station of ANA (1996-2006). The morphometric indices of sinuosity (1.86) and the average slope (10.86%) indicate that the watershed doesn’t show trends for the floods occurrence. The calculation of the average specific flow confirms that exists, on average, a water volume of 32187.62 meters³ per hours; an amount sufficient to supplement, throughout the year, the economic activities and human needs in the watershed. Regarding the slope and the land use, we checked that most part of the watershed has slopes between 3 and 8% (58%), this means that the area has favorable inclinations to the practice of agrarian and pastoral activity.
