Os estudos das patologias das construções é a análise das anomalias que ocorrem nas edificações. As patologias das fundações corrompem todo o sistema construtivo, visto que são elementos que suportam todo o carregamento da estrutura. Um dos motivos que levam a estes problemas são os recalques, que são a deformação sofrida pelo solo quando submetido às cargas da estrutura, provocando em alguns casos o deslocamento da fundação. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo estudar as patologias nas fundações devido ao recalque diferencial e a falta de investigação do subsolo. O estudo foi realizado através de um estudo de caso em um edifício no município de Ipatinga-MG, no qual ocorrem patologias em sua fundação.

The study of the pathologies of the constructions is the analysis of the anomalies occurring in the buildings. The pathologies of the foundations corrupt the completely constructive system, since they are elements that support all the load of the structure. One of the reasons that lead to these problems are the settlements, which are the deformation suffered by the soil when subjected to the loads of the structure, causing in some cases the displacement of the foundation. The present work has the objective of studying the pathologies in the foundations due to the differential settlement and the lack of investigation of the subsoil. The study was carried out through a case study in a building in the city of Ipatinga-MG, which occurs pathologies in its foundation.
