O presente texto aborda aspectos referentes ao percurso da ética profissional no Serviço Social, sobrelevando o código de ética profissional em vigor eque este ano completou 25 anos, e, em consequência, suscita reflexões acerca de diferentes valores que atravessam a moral na sociedade brasileira, seja na vida social em geral seja no âmbito profissional. Além de tocar emaspectos que determinam aatual conjuntura, percorre os diferentes códigos elaborados pelos assistentes sociais, considerando algumas de suas marcas tendenciaise, em sua conclusão, traz aspectos do cotidiano de trabalho do profissional desta área que merecem atenção/reflexão especiais
The present text deals with aspects related to the course of professional ethics in Social Work, overcoming the code of professional ethics in force and that this year has turned 25 years, and, consequently, it raises reflections about different values that cross morals in society Brazilian society, whetherin social life in general or in the professional sphere. Besides touching on aspects that determine the current situation, it goes through the different codes elaborated by the social workers, considering some of their tendential marks and, in its conclusion, brings aspects of the daily work of the professional of this area that deserve special attention / reflection.
