In January 1976, it is released in Italy the one that would be the work-testament of the poet, writer and Italian critic Pier Paolo Pasolini (1922-1975). Salò, o le 120 giornate di Sodoma (1975) is one of the most disturbing and disquieter film pieces of all times. Freely inspired on Sade’s novel - Les 120 journées de Sodoma, ou L’École du libertinaje (1785) -, this film represents, on the highest degree, the expressions of horror, came from the bodies and sexes’ violation by the bourgeois powers. The intent of Pasolini is, beyond an adaptation of Sade’s novel, the hypercritic to the banalization of life and youth in his present time.
