Analisar as heranças coloniais no discurso da ditadura civil-militar, entre 1964 a 1985, como práticas construtoras da geo-política, leva à compreensão da atual situação de cataclismo ambiental em que se encontra a região amazônica brasileira, especialmente o Estado do Acre. Identificando o “autoritarismo que transcende o período autoritário”, conforme declarou o antropólogo Alfredo Wagner Berno de Almeida, no debate “Amazônia contra o autoritarismo – 50 anos depois”, este artigo propõe compreender as violentas permanências e a absoluta falta de visão socioambiental ao tratar do desenvolvimento econômico da região através da análise dos discursos, tanto do imaginário dos navegantes e jesuítas do tempo colonial quanto dos propagandistas da ditadura militar, e das similaridades ideológicas contidas na intenção de ocupar e desenvolver a região, associada ao isolamento e vulnerabilidade ainda nos dias atuais.

Analyzing the colonial inheritance in the discourse of the civil-military dictatorship, between 1964 and 1985, as building practices of geo-politics, leads to the understanding of the current situation of environmental cataclysm in the Brazilian Amazon region, especially the State of Acre. Identifying the “authoritarianism that transcends the authoritarian period”, as stated by anthropologist Alfredo Wagner Berno de Almeida, in the debate “Amazon against authoritarianism - 50 years later” , this article proposes to understand the violent stays and the absolute lack of social and environmental vision when dealing with the economic development of the region through the analysis of the discourses, of the imaginary of the navigators and Jesuits of the colonial time as of the propagandists of the military dictatorship, and of the ideological similarities contained intending to occupy and develop the region, associated with isolation and vulnerability even today.
