Através de práticas prescritivas que se seguem Ã
morte de uma harpia, entre os Ãndios Rikbaktsa do sudoeste
amazônico, este trabalho pretende reconsiderar a oposição e a
precedência ortodoxa entre domÃnios e espaços tidos como
“masculino†e “femininoâ€, “cerimonial†e “doméstico†e
outros contrastes usuais, propondo uma definição etnográfica
e dialógica entre os mesmos.
Through prescriptive practices that follows the
death of the harpy eagle (Harpia hapyja), among the Rikbaktsa
indians of southwestern Amazonia, this work tries to
reconsider the ortodoxy of the opposition and precedence
between “domains†and “spaces†usually associated with
“male†and “femaleâ€, “cerimonial†and “domestic†and other
usual distinctions. It proposes too an ethnographical and
dialogical definition of those “domains†and “spacesâ€.
