Este trabalho foi concebido, basicamente, como um meio de estudar discursos encontrados na comunicação empresarial e apresentar resultados de uma pesquisa sobre a linguagem empresarial, numa situação de interação entre o presidente da CESP e seus empregados, por meio do jornal empresarial Linha Direta. Nossa análise evidencia que o processo discursivo, atravessado por diferentes interdiscursos, revela que a linguagem empresarial é especialmente argumentativa, fundamentalmente, quando o intuito do presidente-locutor é valorizar a empresa e suas decisões. Nosso objetivo baseia-se na consideração de que os discursos são constituídos historicamente e na análise de um evento discursivo, em termos de suas condições sociais, suas relações com outros e seus efeitos sobre leitores.

This paper has been conceived basically as a way of studying the discourses found in enterprise communications and to present results of an enterprise discourse analysis research, in the situation of interaction between the President of CESP and the employees, through Linha Direta newspapers. The analysis studied the discourse process through different inter-discourses. It shows the evidence that the enterprise language is argumentative especially when the aim of the speaker-president is to valorize the public company and his decisions. Our aim is centered on considering discourses as sociohistorically constituted and it also analyzes a discursive event in terms of its social conditions, its relations to others and its effects upon readers.
