Este estudo se propõe a analisar as representações do espaço na narrativa ficcionalde Osman Lins, O Visitante. Nesta obra, verificamos que espaços, ambientes e atmosferasapesar de intimamente ligados às impressões subjetivas das personagens, apresentam aspectossingulares na sua construção. Aspectos que se mostram, geralmente, através da descrição doespaço apreendido pela percepção da personagem e, dela, originam-se, frequentemente,espaços subjetivos que, vinculados ao estado anímico da personagem, podem assumirconfigurações diversas tais como as de espaços mítico, psicológico ou social. Estesparticularmente revelados sob o olhar de Celina. Enfim, a configuração do espaço subjetivodepende do tipo de percepção que a personagem tem do espaço.
This study aims at analysing the representations of space in the fictional narratives by Osman Lins, O visitante. In this work, we were able to verify that the spaces, the environment and the atmosphere, though they are intimately connected to the characters’ subjective impressions, present unique aspects in their construction. Aspects that are shown, usually, through the apprehended space description by the perception of character and, from her perception subjective spaces are often originated which linked to the character’s state of soul, may take various configurations such as mythical, psychological or social ones. These spaces are revealed particularly through Celina ́s eyes. Finally, the configuration of the subjective space depends on the type of perception the character constructs about space.
