Neste artigo, temos, primeiramente, como objetivos gerais tanto analisar a representação do feminino como compreender os fatores que influenciam a desigualdade da mulher, nos contextos literário, cultural e histórico-social em que convive. Tomando-se como corpus de pesquisa o romance Rosario Tijeras (1999), do colombiano Jorge Franco, propomos como metas a serem alcançadas, em decorrência do objetivo mais genérico, analisar a representação do feminino na narrativa Rosario Tijeras e abordar o papel da mulher sob o olhar da sociedade e verificar como se desconstrói a imagem de que a mulher precisa ser colocada em lugar secundário. Por fim, mostrar como a personagem se articula no romance, impõe-se e ocupa o seu lugar, ainda que vivendo em um ambiente hostil, de violência familiar, em posição social inferiorizada e, igualmente, vitimada pelo preconceito histórico-social, igualmente, são focos sobre os quais nos debruçamos neste trabalho.

In this article, we firstly have as general objectives both to analyze the representation of the feminine and to understand the factors that influence the inequality of women, in the literary, cultural and social-historical contexts in which they coexist. Taking as a corpus of research the novel Rosario Tijeras (1999), by the Colombian Jorge Franco, we propose as goals to be achieved, as a result of the more general objective, to analyze the representation of the feminine in the narrative Rosario Tijeras and to address the role of women under the view of society and to verify how the image of the woman who is placed in a secondary place is deconstructed. Finally, to show how the character articulates herself in the novel, she imposes herself and occupies her place, although living in a hostile environment, of familiar violence, inferior social position, and even social-historical prejudice and these aspects are focused on this work.
