O ensaio busca compreender em quais medidas a autonomia político-administrativa da Região Autônoma da Madeira na Constituição da República Portuguesa de 1976, atual e vigorante Texto Maior, assemelha-se e diferencia-se à autonomia outorgada aos estados-membros da República Federativa do Brasil na forma do texto constitucional vigente de 1988. Para tanto, verificar-se-á a existência nos respectivos textos constitucionais dos pressupostos federativos da auto-organização, do autogoverno e da autoadministração.
Resumo Inglês:
The essay seeks to understand in what measures the political and administrative autonomy of the Autonomous Region of Madeira portrayed in the 1976 Constitution of the Portuguese Republic resembles and differentiates the autonomy granted to the member states of the Federative Republic of Brazil in the form of the constitutional text in force since 1988. To this end, the existence in the respective constitutional texts of the federative assumptions of self-organization, self-government and self-administration will be verified in a comparative dogmatic approach.
