As noções de patrimônio e popular nas ciências sociais são complexas pelo fato de sua condição científica polivalente e de serem extraídos do vocabulário comum. O autor, neste sentido, faz um elaborado percurso reflexivo sobre os dois termos para chegar a uma resposta ao seu questionamento de que se existe um patrimônio popular.

The notions of heritage and popular in the social sciences are complex because of its multipurpose scientific condition and also be extracted from the common vocabulary. In this sense the author elaborates reflexive path about the two terms to arrive at an answer to his question that whether there is a popular heritage.

Les notions de patrimoine et populaire dans les sciences sociales sont complexes à cause de sa condition scientifique polyvalente et aussi d’être extraites du vocabulaire commun. Dans ce cas, l'auteur élabore chemin réflexive sur les deux termes pour arriver à une réponse à sa question que se il existe un patrimoine populaire.
