A mulher ocidental do século XVIII, apesar de cerceada por uma sociedade hegemônica masculina, começa a dar os seus primeiros passos para uma condição libertária. As personagens femininas, na literatura desse período, sinalizam para uma inadequação da mulher com relação ao mundo, geralmente demonstram insatisfação às regras impostas a elas pela sociedade em que estão inseridas. É sob esse viés que faremos um estudo sobre as personagens femininas protagonistas na obra Orgulho e Preconceito (2011), de Jane Austen. Observaremos as várias perspectivas dessas personagens com relação ao casamento e à sociedade que as cerca, como se dão os embates dessas vozes e quais personagens subvertem o que está instituído pela ordem do patriarcado.

The 18th century western woman, despite being surrounded by a male hegemonic society, begins to take its first steps towards a libertarian condition. The female characters, in the literature of that period, signal the woman's inadequacy in relation to the world, generally showing dissatisfaction with the rules imposed on them by the society in which they are inserted. It is under this bias that we will make a study about the female characters protagonists in the work Orgulho e Preconceito (2011), by Jane Austen. We will observe the various perspectives of these characters in relation to marriage and the society that surrounds them, how these voices clash and which characters subvert what is instituted by the patriarchy order.
