O objetivo deste texto é divulgar alguns dos achados da minha dissertação de mestrado. Discutiremos o que o acontecimento intitulado beijo gay, da telenovela Amor à Vida, revelou do gênero ficcional telenovela, da sociedade brasileira contemporânea e como esse fenômeno afetou os públicos construídos por essa ocorrência. O referencial teórico é delimitado a partir das noções de experiência e acontecimento. A grade analítica utilizada divide-se em duas categorias: descrição do acontecimento e dos públicos.
The purpose of this text is to disclose some of the findings of my master's thesis. We will discuss what the happening called gay kiss, from the telenovela Amor à Vida, revealed of the soap opera fictional genre, contemporary Brazilian society and how this phenomenon affected the public built by this occurrence. The theoretical framework is delimited from the notions of experience and happening. The analytical grid used is divided into two categories: description of the happening and of the public.
