O artigo apresenta sucintamente a trajetória de Everardo Dias, intelectual
revolucionário no inÃcio do século, militante comunista, maçom, escritor e
jornalista, dentre algumas de suas facetas. A diversidade de sua trajetória se
reflete em seus escritos e permite recuperar múltiplos elementos da história
do movimento operário brasileiro. Neste trabalho, procurou-se evidenciar as
potencialidades de pesquisa contidas na obra do autor e apresentou-se uma
reflexão sobre as temporalidades presentes em seu livro História das Lutas
Sociais no Brasil a partir do resgate do que o autor escreveu em torno do
primeiro de maio, analisando os significados que o evento possuÃa na reflexão
do autor. Por fim, discutiu-se a recuperação da obra de Everardo Dias como
elemento de reflexão interna na historiografia marxista.
The article briefly describes the trajectory of Everardo Dias, intellectual
revolutionary in the early twentieth century, communist militant, Mason,
writer and journalist, among some of its facets. The diversity of his career is
reflected in his writings and allows you to retrieve multiple elements of the
history of the Brazilian labor movement. In this work, we tried to highlight the
potential of research in the work of the author and presented a reflection on the
present temporalities in his book History of Social Struggles in Brazil since the
rescue of what the author wrote about the May 1 by analyzing the meanings
that the event had the reflection of the author. Finally, we discussed the work
of recovery Everardo Dias as an internal reflection on Marxist historiography.
