Pretende-se neste artigo discutir os resultados de uma pesquisa realizada no âmbito da
disciplina Metodologia do Ensino de História e do estágio supervisionado. O trabalho desenvolvido
teve como suporte de pesquisa uma investigação dos conhecimentos sobre a História que
possuem alunos do ensino fundamental. A intenção da pesquisa era perceber qual o conhecimento
acumulado dos alunos sobre a disciplina de História, quais os conceitos adquiridos sobre a
disciplina e como interpretam textos históricos. Os resultados da pesquisa realizada serviram de
subsÃdios para os graduandos do curso de História ministrarem aulas no estágio supervisionado.

In this article we intend to discuss the results of a research accomplished in the scope of
the subject “Methodology of the Teaching of History and of the Supervised Apprenticeshipâ€. The
developed work had as research support an investigation of the knowledge on the History that
students of the fundamental level have. The intention of the research was to notice the students’
accumulated knowledge on the subject of History, the acquired concepts on the discipline and how
they interpret historical texts. The results of the accomplished research helped us as subsidies for
the students of the course of History to give classes in the supervised apprenticeship.
