O presente artigo “A música como forma de resistência contra o silêncio imposto pelos opressores”, busca abordar canções produzidas durante o período da ditadura civil militar de 1964 a 1984, trazendo algumas produções de Chico Buarque e demais cantores, como também a questão do “ser estudante e artista”, demonstrando os privilégios que estes possuíam por terem acessos às informações, mas sem deixar de ser apontados os perigos e crimes desumanos que estes sofreram. O texto foi produzido com embasamentos de leituras de autores como Leandro Karnal, Lilia M. Schuarcz, Heloisa M. Starling, Norberto Bobbio e outros artigos. Houve também um breve levantamento de conceitos sobre ditadura, repressão e resistência. A obra pretende informar aos seus leitores sobre este período da história do Brasil, estimular reflexão e um olhar crítico sobre as criações que serão citadas no decorrer do artigo.

This article “Music as a form of resistance against the silence imposed by the oppressors”, seeks to address the musical productions made during the period of the military civil dictatorship, which took place in the country from 1964 to 1984, bringing some productions by Chico Buarque. and other singers, as well as the question of “being a student and an artist”, demonstrating the privileges they had for having access to the information, but also pointing out the dangers and inhuman crimes they suffered. The text was produced with readings from authors such as Leandro Karnal, Lilia M. Schuarcz, Heloisa M. Starling, Norberto Bobbio and other articles from the Internet. There was also a brief survey of concepts about dictatorship, repression and resistance. The work intends to inform its readers about this period of Brazilian history, and also to cause a reflection and a critical look on the creations that will be cited during the article.
