Sabemos que os “estudos literários comparados” rotulam investigações variadas, que adotam diferentes metodologias e que, pela diversificação dos objetos de análise, concedem à literatura comparada um imenso campo de atuação. A dificuldade de um consenso sobre a natureza da literatura comparada, seus métodos e objetivos cresce de acordo com a pesquisa e a leitura de diferentes críticos e estudiosos neste campo. O objetivo desse artigo é analisar as relações interartes e intermidiáticas, compreendendo a evolução dos diálogos entre a poesia e as outras artes, em especial no que diz respeito à arte compósita de William Blake.

We know that the „comparative literature field‟ labels various investigations, adopting different methodologies and which, through the diversification of objects, grant the comparative literature a huge field for discussion. The difficulty of consensus around the nature of comparative literature, its methods and goals grows according to the research and reading of various critics and scholars. The purpose of this article is analyze interart and intermidiatic relations, including the evolution of the dialogues between poetry and as other arts, especially when it comes to the composite art of William Blake.
