Jornalismo e polifonia - a reportagem como trama de vozes na construção da identidade de Felipe Klein

Este artigo versa sobre as confluências entre jornalismo e discurso nos
meios impressos no âmbito da indústria cultural conceituada por Adorno e
Horkheimer. Nesse contexto, estudamos a presença do sincretismo entre
gêneros e linguagens nos relatos jornalísticos dos meios impressos e a
evolução da categoria notícia para os conceitos de reportagem e jornalismo
interpretativo. Esses gêneros, como relatos aprofundados de um fato,
obrigam o repórter a alinhavar um vasto material informativo, reunido por
meio de entrevistas e pesquisas. O objetivo é analisar a presença dessas
vozes polêmicas, polifônicas, na construção da identidade do personagem
Felipe Klein, da matéria “A tragédia de Felipe Klein”, do jornal Já, de Porto
Alegre, vencedora do Prêmio Esso de 2004, na categoria reportagem.

This article examines the confluences between journalism and discourse in
printed material within the scope of the culture industry as described by
Adorno and Horkheimer. Within this context, we studied the presence of
syncretism among genres and languages in journalistic reports in the print
media and the evolution of the category news for the concept of reporting
and interpretive journalism. These genres, as in-depth accounts of a fact,
oblige the reporter to sketch out a vast amount of informative material, gathered
through interviews and surveys. The objective is to analyze the presence
of these controversial, polyphonic voices, in the construction of the
identity of the character Felipe Klein, of the story “The tragedy of Felipe Klein”,
from the newspaper Já, of Porto Alegre, winner of the 2004 Esso Award in
the reporting category.
